DALLAS COWBOYS DISAPPOINTING 08 START

The Dallas Cowboys are the most disappointing NFL team this year. The reason they are the most disappointing team is because they are the most talented team in the NFL. The Cowboys can’t win any game despite of all the talent that they have. Tony Romo, Adam Jones, and Terrell Owens aren’t meeting up to par. Tony Romo, as the quarter back, isn’t running his team as it should be ran, not getting all of his offensive players involved. Adam Jones a defensive back, isn’t in shape and the defense is suffering because he is probably the best defensive back but the team doesn’t have any depth. Terrell Owens complains about getting the ball too little, but how can he receive the ball 20 times a game if he is being double covered. So to conclude these facts, the team is forcing chemistry rather than to allow those elements to happen naturally.

College Life

College life to me has been a big transition. I am now learning how to be on my own and how to manage my time and money. College life is what you make out of it. If you dont try to enjoy yourself, you will hate college and it could be the worst experience of your life. The university that i attend has so many people and so this means that you will meet a new person everyday. What i like about college life is being on my own. I dont have to rely on my parents to everything for me, i am becoming a young adult. The most important thing of college life is to get your education. It's ok to have fun and all but you are not at college have fun. You are here to get a education and graduate. The reason college life is a big transition is because you are not being treated like a child anymore. If you want to learn something you must learn it your own. Nothing is given to anyone in college, everything is earned. College life will make you or break you. Staying focus and on task will help you be a great college student. What i mean by make or break you is if you let college life take control of you, you can become stressed out, funck out, drop out, and even depressed. So the best thing for anyone to do is to enjoy college and dont let it get to you because college is for education purposes only. Always rememder college is what you make out of it.

Money isn't Everything

Most people beliveve money is the way and key to everything. Ofcourse money can get you almost anything that you want but it will never buy a person happiness. In most cases the person with the most money is the person with the most power. Like i said before having alot of money will never make you happy. If you are lonely how can you enjoy your sucess? The reason why i asked that question is because it is a known fact that being lonely can break a person down. As we all kno being wealthy is a great thing, but once you have everything who will you have to share it with besides your family and close friends. If you dont have anyone to share it with you will just be an wealthy, lonely, and crazy person. So to prevent this from happening always surround yourself around a positive person who you consider yourself as a friend. So for anybody who becomes rich try to find someone to share your sucess with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Redeem Team Vs. The Dream Team

As we all kno many people have always said the dream team was the best basketball team to ever play in the olympics. Thats only an opinion, is that really true. Today olympic teams from other country have the same skill level as the american players. Wherefore when the dream team was playing in the olympics, teams from other countries had lower skill level and was really learning the game of basketball. Today a new U.S.A. basketball team has evolved and they only had one goal, which was to win the olympic gold metal. The redeem team is the new U.S.A basketball team. Can it be argued that they are the best U.S.A. team to ever play in the olympics? Well it can be a great arguement because the competition around the world is equal and the skill level of other players around the world are equal. But the redeem team still came out victorious. There will always be a but because the dream team went through the olympic competition with ease. If the competition was equal do you think the dream team still could of swept through the competition? Well this will always be a great arguement and either way it goes both teams are U.S.A teams and they had one mission, which was to win the olympic gold medal.

My Place To Be

To me church is my place to. Although i havent been in a while i kno its my place of relaxation. First let me explain what a church is a building for public, especially Christian worship. It is also to conduct a church service for, especially to perform a religious service for a woman after childbirth. When im in church i feel comfortable, i feel like im at home. Church should be a place of worship, a place where you can go to relieve stress and pain. So in a place like this everyone should be able to feel comfortable, free, themselves, and at home. The reason anyone should feel at home is because you are in a christian environment. Now that i have fully explained what church is i expect to hear mor people talking about going to church or just even having it in a conversation, including myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Basketball

Basketball is the greatest sport that could ever be created. The game of basketball is so exciting and many people around the world enjoy playing it also. Basketball isnt a very easy sport to play, it takes lots of practice, time, and patience to master this sport. The most challenging obsticle about basketball is conditioning. In order to play basketball you must be able to run extremely alot. Running in the sport of basketball is so important because it is one of the main aspects of the sport. The sport of basketball have so many rules and regulations that sometimes you could almost get confused if you dont have a full understanding of the sport. The sport of basketball is so complex becasue it has so many different levels. There are little league basketball, city league basketball, junior high basketball, AAU basketball, high school basketball, college basketball, and even proffessional. The best thing of all about the sport of basketball is if you are an outstanding athlete of this game you have a opportunity playing a game that you love. Basketball a very exciting and a very interesting sport.

How to Live Healthy

Living healthy is very imporant. If you dont live healthy you will have a great chance of dying faster. What i mean by living healthy is eating all the right foods, keeping your body in good shape, and also keep your personal hygiene up. What i mean by eating all the right foods is eating all the foods that are healthy, not to fatty, and doesnt have lots of seasonings. Foods with lots of fat and salt can lead to having high blood pressure or even diabetes, which could eventually lead to death. When a person exercises, it preserve the body. Exercising keeps the body fit and helps the body function better. When the body is fit you most likely have a greater chance of living longer. It is very important to keep your personal hygiene up. Being clean is very important. If you dont stay clean your are allowing more and more bacteria to build up on your body. Your pesonal hygiene involves brushing your teeth, taking baths or showers, keeping your hair groomed, and also keeping your hands clean. The reason all of these thing are important is so your body want be smelly nor your mouth. Living a healthy life is not all that hard to do if you want to life your life to the fullest with less complications. Being healthy will always make you a standout person. So now is the time to start living a healthy life if you havent already started.

Hurricane Gustav

Hurricane Gustav wasnt bad as i thought it was going to be. The way the weather channel was hyping it up i thought i was going to be the worst hurricane ever. I packed all of my valuables, left my college which is close to the Gulf Coast, and went back to my home town. The great thing about this storm was that i had a chance to visit some family and friend back in my home town. I also enjoyed the extra day off we had out of school. Hurricane Gustav really had lots of people scared because it was suppose to be worser than Hurricane Katrina, which led to one of the worlds greatest tragedys. Gustav wasnt as affective as everyone thought it was going to be. It caused alot of damage but not to much that it caused people to be without family and loved ones, such as Katrina. I really do believe that the government did a great job getting all of the people who live on the Gulf Coast or near the coast to safe places and shelters. The governtment was really was focused on saving lives and not letting peolpe lose their lives. The most important thing of all was that Gustav wasnt as powerful as Katrina. If Gustav was that powerful many people would of been without homes, clothing, and seperated family. The city of New Orleans would of been damaged worse and the Gulf Coast surrounding areas as well. Gustav the Hurricane that wasnt that bad after all.

School

School so far has been really great. I have enjoyed meeting all the new people. I really like meeting all the new girl. I didnt have any idea that college would be this much fun. My favorite thing about going to college is all of the parties but i never let parties distract my learning pocess. The most hardest transition about college is waking up every morning and i have to be a class by 8 o' clock a.m. By waking up so early is kind of good for me because i get a chance to get out of school early and i have the whole day to rest. College so far has been a very different transition for me because i so use to the teacher breaking down assignments. I have learned that they treat you like adults and you must learn your work on your own. I have also come to find out that in order to be successful in college i must turn in all of my assignments on time and dont forget to do any of them. For my first year in college i'm goning to make the best experience out of this. I really believe U.S.M is the right place for me. The reason i believe this is because the environment is very laid back, the people are friendly, and the school has great tradition. College life has been everything i thought it would be, it has been exciting; adventurous; and very fun. Southern Miss. to the top!!!
